Have you ever heard the expression, "you can always make more money but you can never make more time"? That's about to change thanks to Eve Rodsky. Eve is the author of a new book coming out this Fall, Fair Play and it's going shift how we perceive and recognize the amount of time women work, especially as it relates to domestic responsibilities.

Fair Play is a game-changer for women and it blows the cover on the invisible yet time-consuming work women do. The majority of the burden of child-raising falls to the mothers regardless of whether or not they work outside the home.

This Fierce Female is working to change modern society one marriage at a time with a new 21st-century solution to an age-old problem: women shouldering the brunt of domestic life responsibilities and the endless list of things to do for their children: haircuts, doctors, dentists, snow days, new clothes, babysitters, playdates, class volunteering, car-pooling, birthday parties, family events, in-laws (just a few things that come top of mind).

In her forthcoming book Fair Play: A Game-Changing Solution for When You Have Too Much to Do (and More Life to Live), she uses her Harvard Law School training and years of organizational management experience to create a gamified life-management system. This system helps families rebalance all of the work it takes to run a home and allow parents the chance to reimagine their relationship, time and purpose.

TAJ: What's your favorite F word?

Eve: “Fair. For over a century, we’ve been talking about the unfair division of labor in the home. Its time for a 21st-century solution.”

TAJ: What needs to happen for women to unlock their potential?

Eve: "We all need to embrace the new type of feminism. It's the last frontier of feminism when we say it's time to step out of work in the home."

TAJ: What does being fierce mean to you?

Eve: "Being afraid and still having the courage to face those fears and do what you want to do."

TAJ: What's the best compliment someone can give another woman?

Eve: "She is a spiritual friend. She is someone who will support another woman’s journey from start to finish."

TAJ: What is your superpower?

Eve: "I'm the reverse Harry Potter. I'm turning the invisible into something visible. For too long the true scope and output of a woman's work has not been seen."

TAJ: How do accessories make you feel?

Eve: "They're a way for women to express themselves individually and create visibility."

TAJ: What kind of rules have you broken?

Eve: I've not only broken rules, I've created entire new sets of rules.

TAJ: What rules need to be broken next?

Eve: "Women need to stop asking for the microphone and they just need to take the microphone. We have the most beautiful stories and its time to share them with the world."

TAJ: If there was a movie about you, what would be the theme song?

Eve: "Journey, Don’t stop believing. Whatever you think you can’t do, you can, BUT you need the right support in your own home to achieve that."
